Huygens Museum, Hofwijck: Your Wedding Venue

Would you like to tie the knot at Hofwijck? You certainly can! Constantijn Huygens’ historic country estate provides a stunning backdrop for your special day. Hofwijck is the ideal venue for an intimate wedding. The wedding ceremony takes place in Hofwijck’s historic hall, an atmospheric space bathed in natural light and with a unique charm. The hall can accommodate up to 30 guests.

The wedding ceremony can take place at the following times:

Wedding Photography

The charming house and historic garden provide a unique setting for a wedding photo shoot. The photo shoot (maximum 6 people, lasting 1 hour) can take place either inside Hofwijck or in the garden.

The cost for this is €125. Please contact us to check availability and book a date.

Toast & Reception

Immediately following the wedding ceremony, it is possible to have a celebratory toast.

The wedding couple is responsible for providing the wedding cake, and the supplier is responsible for its assembly. The Huygens Museum will provide the cake plates and forks. The Prosecco arrangement is included within the two-hour duration of the wedding ceremony, and no additional rental fee is required for this.

Travel by Boat to Hofwijck

Would you like to arrive at Hofwijck with your wedding guests in a special way? Choose to travel by boat. Hofwijck collaborates with the shipping company De Ooievaart and has its own landing stage.
